An Interesting Question: If Jesus was easily identifiable from his preaching at the Temple area every day, surely the Jewish authorities could have followed him to learn he walked back each night to Bethany to stay at the house of Mary, Martha, and Lazarus. Why didn't they simply arrest him quietly one of those nights? Why did they need to hire Judas to betray Jesus? |
